'Joined at the Head' Callbacks

Advanced Drama 08/09

Hard to believe, isn't?

If you are interested in auditioning for Advanced Drama for the 08-09 school year, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, 2/20 during all lunches in the Black Box Theater. The meeting is open to all upcoming juniors & seniors who are interested in taking the class. If you are unable to make it on that day, you can swing by and talk to Malo at any time.

The audition date for Advanced Drama will be Wednesday, 3/12, during all lunches in the Black Box Theater.

ITS Auditions

The auditions for 'Joined at the Head' will be Monday, 1/14. Please meet in the black box theater. You can pick up the audition pieces from Mrs. Malo any time.

Informational Meeting for ITS Production

There will be an informational meeting for the ITS production, 'Joined at The Head' on Monday, 01/07 after-school in the black box theater. If you can't make it, please see Mrs. Malo or the director, Kaitlyn Estes for more information. Auditions are on Monday, 1/14 and callbacks are 1/16. Hope to see you there!

Our Drama Mama - Cathy Jenkins

It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our friend and hair goddess, Cathy Jenkins.
'Mama Jenkins' was a integral part of the Howell High School Theater Department and put a lot of love and dedication into our productions. We don't know what we are going to do without her.

Anyone who was lucky enough to know and work with Cathy will remember her big smile and infectious laugh. She was always there to listen and support everyone.

Cathy always said her greatest accomplishment was her daughters, Taylour & Paige. She was extremely proud of them and was always bragging about them. Taylour & Paige, please know that you are in our hearts and prayers.

Visitation will be Friday 2-8 p.m. with services Saturday 11 a.m. at MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800). Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Once On This Island Update

There is a snow day tomorrow (Monday December 17, 2007), so we will not be having rehearsal after school. We will not be making this rehearsal up before break, but you still need to do a few things. All Grandhommes and the following characters: Asaka, Agwe, Erzulie, Papa Ge, Ton Ton Julian, Mama Euralie, Daniel, Ti Moune, and Andrea need to come to the Black Box on Wednesday during lunch so we can take measurements for your costumes. **If you are at the 9th grade campus, we will contact you about getting your measurements. **

All cast members need to see Malo or Matt Radick sometime before they leave for break so we can give you your score and a copy of the CD. They will be available Wednesday, 12/19/07. **If you are at the 9th grade campus, we will bring them to you **
